Thailand 4.0 is an economic model that aims to unlock the country from several economic challenges resulting from past economic development models to achieve economic prosperity, social well-being, raising human value and environmental protection. Thailand 4.0 has the potential to help many Thai businesses in their digital transformation.

 

The Healthcare industry is identified as one of the ’S’ Curve industry by the government. This presentation will aim to share polices and initiatives that have been implemented to encourage A.I. applications and implementations in the healthcare industry in Thailand

In developing Asia, the shortage of qualified healthcare providers and low quality healthcare in rural areas create huge inequality between urban and rural health services. Besides improving efficiency in clinical work and reducing medical errors, the application of Artificial Intelligence in rural healthcare can help bridge this gap in inequality. This presentation shares some of the key initiatives by the Thai government to help improve healthcare in the rural population through A.I. applications
