Government Big Data Institute

Dr. Achalakul is currently the director of the Government Big Data Institute (GBDi), the data intelligence service provider under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand. She has worked in the fields of big data analytics, high-performance computing, cloud and virtualization, and software engineering since 2000. She has extended experiences working in the IT industry and academia in both the United States and Thailand. During the past 20 years, Dr. Achalakul has been both an educator and a consultant. She serves on advisory boards for multiple agencies as well as teaches university students at KMUTT. She is also the founder of the Big Data Experience Center, the KMUTT student incubator (Hatch), and a few technological startups.
